ATLANTA – JULY 28, 2022 – SHR Residential (“SHR Resi”) is pleased to announce that it has acquired Collier Flats, a premium apartment home community located in Atlanta’s vibrant Upper Westside (“UWS”) neighborhood on the West Side of Buckhead, just north of West Midtown.
Collier Flats is located at 1000 Collier Road, just off the major Northside Drive interchange of the I-75 highway that is a major commuter artery into Midtown and Downtown Atlanta.
The Collier Flats community features 76 Class A apartment homes that each have two bedrooms.
SHR Resi will be completing premium upgrades to the interiors of each home. Renovated apartments have updated kitchens with new stainless steel appliances, cabinets, stone backsplashes, quartz countertops, lighting and plumbing fixtures; new washer and dryer appliances; and new window coverings, wood style flooring and paint. Exterior improvements include new windows, gutter and downspout replacements, new lighting and major landscaping changes.
This is SHR Resi’s fourth apartment home community in the Upper Westside neighborhood as the company makes a long-term commitment to one of the most attractive and swiftly developing parts of metro Atlanta. Less than a mile away, SHR Resi recently started a ground-up development of The Howell, a community of 210 premium Class A apartments located at 1850 Howell Mill Road NW on the site of a former food truck park just off I-75.
